ABOUT THE TEAM
The Product Lifecycle Operations team acts as the connective tissue between business priorities and product delivery, aligning the outputs of Finance, Growth, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Deployments, and Sustainment to paint a comprehensive picture of product maturity across the company.
We own and drive the strategy to pull production readiness into upstream business decisions, partnering with senior leaders to execute, iterate, and improve as we cross-pollinate to all functions and divisions. We work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define what good looks like throughout the entire product lifecycle and target measurable outcomes that reflect true delivery readiness.
This team is for those who view ambiguity as a gift, are not afraid to tackle complex problems, have a strong bias toward action, and are able to quickly filter through the noise to identify and execute against the signal. We move fast and deliver thoughtfully, building and iterating as we go.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Data Operations Engineer to architect, build, and deploy critical operational tooling across our diverse portfolio.
In this role, you will function as the bridge between the CEO Office and the divisional product teams designing, building, and deploying both hardware and software across the business. You will develop tailored analytics solutions for each product team that also provide a consolidated view of their disparate datasets for centralized executive reporting. You will not just visualize existing data - you will weaponize it to diagnose critical blind spots, identify opportunities for connection, and drive systematic data integrity. You will translate operational questions into metrics, dashboards, and analyses that inform executive decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of both business and technical acumen, with a strong focus on thoughtful system design in high visibility, heavily cross-functional environments. Prioritization of scrappy, easily adoptable solutions with an actionable roadmap for improvement over flawless, fully baked system architecture is a critical success factor.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the technical roadmap from conception through delivery to sustainment. Architect and drive the completion of the roadmap that connects core enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, MES, etc.) with tactical collaboration tools (Jira, Airtable, etc.) to provide a cohesive single source of truth. From ideation through adoption, incorporate feedback from end users and evolving requirements. Serve as a key thought partner to other leads across the team on data unlocks and systematic improvements that would future-proof and scale current processes.
- Partner cross-functionally to deeply understand tools, taxonomies, and ontologies. Build relationships with Corporate Planning & Operations, Revenue Operations, Corporate Technology, and Data Engineering & Platform teams to deeply understand tools, taxonomies, and ontologies. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop applications that create coherence across the tech stack.
- Build custom dashboards and analytical tools. Design, construct, validate, and roll out tailored dashboards for divisional product teams and senior leadership. Leverage each divisional product team’s existing business rhythm and data sources to build solutions that address their pain points while sustaining their best practices.
- Leverage both technical and operational data to drive business outcomes. Transform raw data into actionable insights for product teams and executive leadership alike. Pull together disparate data streams across Growth, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and more to drive measurable outcomes for product maturity, operational velocity, and revenue realization.
- Create and iterate on solutions that last. Start by being scrappy to deliver quickly, collect stakeholder feedback across multiple cycles, then formalize and optimize over time. Facilitate documentation and knowledge transfer so architecture decisions, dependencies, and assumptions remain accessible and durable.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, software engineering, management information systems, or similar.
- Direct coding experience, using Python, SQL, React, TypeScript, or similar.
- Deep understanding of data stack tools like Palantir Foundry or Databricks.
- Direct experience owning, leading, and driving adoption of user-facing applications and associated processes.
- Proven track record of leveraging technical data to solve business problems.
- Demonstrated technical autonomy from roadmap definition to solution rollout and sustainment.
- Proven ability to execute operationally while also being able to step back and think strategically.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience connecting data across business, engineering, and manufacturing environments (CRM, ERP, PLM, MES, etc).
- Experience building end-to-end data pipelines, ontologies, and applications in Palantir Foundry or Databricks.
