What you'll do
- Check customer and supplier master records against internal fraud-prevention rules, and prepare new business partners
- Support project tasks including large-scale data changes, and deliver your own small projects from start to finish
- Produce analyses and reports in response to requests, and assist with efforts to improve processes
- Refresh team knowledge materials and communications, and coordinate regularly with units across the group
What you bring
- Commercial vocational training or a degree, plus initial work in master data and project settings
- Practical skill with SAP R/3, especially FI, and MS Office
- Knowledge of process flows and business partner records, with careful analysis and precise, customer-focused work
- Fluent English communication; additional languages are welcome
Who this fits
This role suits someone with early master data experience who can handle small projects and work carefully with business partner records. You’ll follow a hybrid arrangement with designated Berlin office days and live in Germany. Mobile work elsewhere in the EU is allowed for up to six weeks.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our Regional Treasury EMEA department is responsible for the Treasury and Cash Management activity of BASF Group companies in the EMEA region. Within our Bank team, we are responsible for validating customer and supplier master data, ensuring adherence to internal Fraud Prevention requirements.
- In your new role, you support the project team with day-to-day tasks such as mass changes.
- In addition, you are responsible for managing your own small projects from initiation through to full completion, as well as providing reports and supporting optimization projects.
- The validation and preparation of new business partners form a core part of your responsibilities, along with various analyses and reports depending on requests and needs.
- Besides that, you are ensuring that team knowledge, communications, and publications are kept up to date.
- Lastly, you are in regular contact with various units across the BASF Group.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- commercial vocational training or studies and first professional experience in the field of Master Data and working in projects
- confident handling in working with SAP R/3, particularly in the FI module, as well as with MS Office
- comprehensive knowledge of process flows, Business Partner master data workflow, products, customers and entity goals
- strong analytical sense and an eye for details is required, goal-oriented, precise working methods and high customer orientation
- fluent and convincing communication in English, further language skills are welcome
WHAT WE OFFER
- Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience - In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success
