What you'll do
- Use business intelligence and advanced analytics with stakeholders to uncover customer needs and find growth opportunities
- Turn analysis into visual displays, MIS reports and presentations, then discuss findings with business stakeholders to guide decisions
- Combine new data points and models to surface insights from different perspectives
- Assess emerging data science methods and use cases, and contribute to analytics initiatives and projects
What you bring
- A degree in banking, finance, business or another listed discipline
- Relevant experience in data or business analytics
- Strong programming ability in SAS, Python or another statistical software package
- Working knowledge of Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and Word, plus dashboard tools such as QlikView or QlikSense

Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to conduct business intelligence and advanced analytics, aiming to discover and fulfill customers’ needs proactively, and to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to support business growth
- Create visualizations, prepare presentation and MIS reports with actionable insights to business stakeholders, lead discussion on analytics and interpretation of results to drive decision making
- Leverage new data points and data models to bring in new data insightfrom different angles
- Continuously explore cutting edge solution in Data Science and take initiatives in evaluating new methodologies and user cases
- Support business analytics initiatives and projects
Requirements
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related disciplines
- Relevant experience in data/business analytics
- Conversant with PC application including MS Excel, VBA, Powerpoint and Word
- Strong programming skill in SAS/Python or any statistical software
- Knowledge in building dashboard by using Qlikview/Qliksense or other data visualisation tools
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A customer centric attitude, with good communication and interpersonal skills
