What you'll do
- Check client policies against privacy rules such as PDPL, and draft or revise internal procedures with key stakeholders
- Advise data controllers and processors on privacy matters, while building compliance practices across organizational units
- Audit compliance, track data-processing activities, and serve as the contact for data protection authorities
What you bring
- At least five years of relevant experience and a degree in computer science, information systems or another listed field
- Practical privacy work spanning business and technology issues in managing enterprise information assets
- Knowledge of established data governance and data management methods, plus CDMP certification
- Fluency in Arabic and English is strongly preferred

- Ensure that client policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as PDPL (Personal Data Protection Low).
- Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with the organization's key stakeholders
- Inform and advise the data controller or data processor on all matters related to data protectiona
- Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the organization
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues
- Maintain records of all data processing activities of the company
- Serve as point of contact for data protection authorities
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or information Management from a recognized and approved program.
- Knowledge of industry-leading data governance and data management practices.
- Have practical track records in data privacy practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches.
- CDMP Certified
- CIPP certification is a plus
Fluency in Arabic & English is highly desirable
