What you'll do
- Design Azure data warehouses and BI solutions that can scale as reporting needs grow
- Build Power BI dashboards and analytics around business KPIs and executive reporting needs

- Protect reporting data quality and governance while integrating Big Data technologies into BI and warehouse solutions

- You have hands-on knowledge of Azure Synapse or Azure Data Warehouse, alongside cloud data services
- You can build and optimize Power BI models, DAX, dashboards and reports
- You bring advanced SQL skills, including query tuning and stored procedures, plus ETL/ELT pipeline experience
- You can model data with star or snowflake schemas and handle access controls and compliance practices
- You can automate data work with Python, Shell or PowerShell

- Drive the development of Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions aligned with business KPIs and executive reporting needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
- Oversee and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Drive the use of scripting and automation to streamline data workflows and monitoring.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Big Data technologies into BI/DWH solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all reporting layers.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data warehouse architecture.
- Act as a trusted advisor for BI strategy, suggesting best practices and emerging tools in the Azure ecosystem.
Essential Skills Technical
- Data Warehousing (DWH) – design, architecture, and implementation
- Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data Warehouse
- Power BI – data modeling, DAX, dashboard/report design, optimization
- SQL – advanced querying, optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning
- Database Knowledge – relational models, indexing, schema design
- ETL/ELT Tools & Pipelines – data integration and orchestration
- Data Modeling – star schema, snowflake schema, SCDs, fact/dimension design
- Data Governance & Security – role-based access, compliance best practices
- Cloud Ecosystem (Azure) – storage, compute, and analytics services
- Scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and data handling.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Hadoop ecosystem).
