What you'll do
- Build interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, SSRS or Report Builder, including custom DAX calculations
- Set up scheduled refreshes, Power BI Gateways and row-level access, then publish reports through Power BI Service
- Pull data from databases and external sources, and create or test SQL queries, procedures and views
- Develop SQL and SSIS components for ETL workflows that supply Power BI reports
- Support selected SSAS cube work with MDX, or maintain existing assets, and automate report refreshes with SQL
What you bring
- At least five years working in analytics, preferably in insurance
- Hands-on reporting experience with Power BI or SSRS, alongside strong advanced SQL skills
- Experience with an ETL tool such as SSIS or Azure
- A degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, operations research or another listed analytics field
- Clear professional communication, including the ability to handle disagreement constructively

- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
- 5+ years in analytics (Preferably with Insurance)
- Must have experience in reporting tools like PBI,SSRS and good advance SQL skills
- Must have experience in using ETL tools like SSIS or Azure etc.
- Good to have experience in MS Access, Excel, VBA, SSAS
- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills
- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
