What you'll do
- Set the migration scope with data owners, including which records move and the approach for handling them
- Coordinate the data-migration workstream with developers, functional data owners and IT object owners
- Set migration methods, templates, shared repositories and documentation rules, then check teams follow them
- Track migration work, resolve error tickets and give project managers regular progress updates
- Fold migration cut-over tasks into the rollout plan, hand them over, then govern India plant master data
What you bring
- At least nine years handling master data, ideally covering materials, customers or vendors
- At least five years managing IT projects end to end; SAP ERP migration work is an added advantage
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or an equivalent qualification
- A record of delivering projects within agreed scope, budget and schedule
Who this fits
This senior role suits someone who can lead project teams, work with varied stakeholders and communicate with senior leaders. It is primarily on-site at the KE Plant in Chennai, particularly throughout the project phase. After the India rollout to the global template, you will take responsibility for master data governance at the India plant.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with object owners to define the migration scope, including identification of required migration objects and migration approach.
- Plan and manage the data migration sub-project, ensuring alignment and coordination with key stakeholders such as developers, functional data owners, and IT object owners.
- Establish and enforce migration standards, including methodology, templates, repositories, and documentation practices.
- Monitor migration activities, manage issue resolution (including error tickets), and provide regular status updates to project management.
- Integrate data migration cut-over activities into the overall rollout cut-over plan and transition ownership to the project management team.
- This role is primarily site-based and requires on-site presence at the KE Plant in Chennai, India, especially during the entire project phase, to enable close collaboration with stakeholders involved in master data maintenance activities.
- Post completion of the India Rollout to global template, the individual will own the Master data governance role specifically related to India plant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering or Equivalent Education
- Minimum of 9+ years’ experience in any Master data management handling (preferred if into Material/Customer/Vendor handling)
- Minimum of 5+ years into End-to-End IT Project management handling, if into any SAP (ERP) data migration, is an added advantage.
- A recognized project or program management qualification would be an added advantage.
- Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program teams, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Good business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt style to be successful with all stakeholders, incl. senior leaders.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
