What you'll do
- Shape how teams across the bank manage data, partnering with business and technology leaders on transformation work
- Build shared approaches to governance, data quality and lifecycle management with the Data Management & Architecture team
- Create glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata rules and lineage so data can be understood and traced
- Set governance controls and measures, then help teams adopt data management capabilities
- Guide data through creation, retention, archival and disposal, supporting regulatory, operational and analytics needs
What you bring
- A university degree in business informatics, computer science, banking, finance or a comparable field
- Experience across data governance, metadata management, data quality and lifecycle management
- Experience using an enterprise data catalogue platform such as Informatica, Collibra or Microsoft Purview
- Fluent English; German is a plus

As Data Governance & Lifecycle Enablement Lead, you build the foundation for the strategic transformation at Julius Baer, driving data-centricity across the organization. You will shape how data is governed, understood, trusted and managed throughout its entire lifecycle.YOUR CHALLENGE
Shape enterprise-wide data capabilities and influence how data is managed across the bank
Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders on strategic transformation initiatives
Enable trusted data for regulatory, operational, analytics use cases
Together with the whole Data Management & Architecture team, drive enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management frameworks
Establish business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards and end-to-end data lineage
Define standards, controls and metrics to improve governance maturity and data quality
Lead adoption of data management capabilities
Drive data literacy, stakeholder engagement and a data-driven culture
Ensure effective management of data from creation through retention, archival and disposal
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in business informatics, computer science, banking, finance or similar
Experiencein Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management
Experience with enterprise data catalogue platforms such as Informatica, Collibra or Microsoft Purview
Experience working with data management, metadata and records management tools such as data catalogues, lineage and governance platforms
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technology functions
Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change in a complex environment
Self-motivated, hands-on and team-oriented with a can-do attitude
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
