What you'll do
- Interview stakeholders, survey teams and review current systems to map business objectives and data requirements
- Build conceptual, logical and physical data models, plus diagrams showing data movement and data dictionaries
- Choose and implement warehouses, lakes or operational stores, then build ETL pipelines to combine and reshape source data
- Set up data quality and security policies, including profiling, cleanup and access controls
- Assess new data tools, document architecture and flows, and coordinate with engineers, scientists and analysts
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or another listed field
- At least six years working in data engineering roles
- Practical knowledge of database systems, data modeling, warehouses, ETL and big data platforms
- Hands-on cloud deployment and management experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure
- Advanced English, plus knowledge of data architecture, quality and security principles

Responbilities:
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders, conduct surveys, and review existing systems to understand the organization's business goals and data needs.
- Create data architecture models (conceptual, logical, and physical) suitable for the organization's data needs, prepare data flow diagrams and data dictionaries.
- Design, select, and implement data storage solutions such as data warehouses, data lakes, operational data stores.
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate and transform data from different sources.
- Create policies and procedures to ensure data quality, perform data profiling, and manage data cleansing processes.
- Create policies and procedures to ensure data security, design access control mechanisms, and implement data security standards.
- Evaluate new data technologies and tools, ensure compatibility with existing systems, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Document and keep up-to-date data architecture, data models, data flows, and other related topics.
- Work closely with other team members (data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, etc.) on data architecture projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years experience in Data Engineering roles
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure and have experience with deploying and managing data solutions in the cloud.
- Knowledge of data architecture principles and concepts.
- Experience in data modeling techniques (e.g., conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
- Knowledge of data quality management and data security.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and results-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) processes and tools.
- Advanced level of English
- No military obligation for male candidates for at least 2 years
