What you'll do
- Design data structures and models around business needs and plans for growth
- Build ETL workflows and coordinate with data engineers to bring information together from different sources
- Tune databases for speed, scale and reliability, and investigate processing slowdowns
- Set data quality, privacy and lifecycle practices, then document designs, data flows and technical specifications
- Work with analysts, scientists, developers and business teams to shape data solutions

- You have two to four years across data engineering, architecture, database design and integration
- You understand database systems, data modeling and ETL, including relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL
- You have used ETL or warehousing tools and AWS, and understand governance, security and regulatory compliance

- Data Architecture Design - Design, develop and implement data architectures that align with business needs and growth plans. Define data models, schemas and structures for different types of data
- Data Integration - Work closely with data engineers to ensure smooth data integration from various sources. Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform and Loan) processes.
- Database Management - Optimize and manage databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Data Governance - Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data lifecycle management processes. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security practices.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 to 4 years in data engineering and architecture, database design, and data integration.
- Strong understanding of database system, data modeling principles and ETL processes
- Knowledgable of relational databases (SQL Server and MySQL)
- Experience with ETL Tools/Data Warehousing Tools (Informatica, etc) and cloud platform (Amazon Web Services)
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance with regulation
