What you'll do
- Build reliable databases around users’ different responsibilities, information needs and preferred views
- Set up user access and deliver data in suitable formats at the right time
- Restore transactions quickly, back up data and keep downtime low while tuning query response
- Support and train users, and document database rules and procedures
- Check security and data integrity, track performance, and apply needed patches or version changes
What you bring
- At least two years working as a database administrator
- You can use data manipulation languages and one of Oracle Database, Hadoop, MS SQL or PostgreSQL
- You bring analytical problem-solving, clear written and verbal communication, and strong organization

Job Description:
- Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
- Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
Requirements
Qualifications:
- With at lease 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle Database, Hadoop, MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Up-to-date with trends and developments in database administration.
