What you'll do
- Design and develop data warehouses and reporting solutions, including the underlying data models
- Elicit requirements, understand end-user needs, and compare options before recommending a solution
- Lead implementation work and manage the project through its timeline
What you bring
- Deep capability in data warehousing, reporting, warehouse design and development, and data modeling
- Four to seven years in data warehouse or business intelligence architecture, design, or development
- Three to five years managing projects, plus experience developing requirements and solving analytical problems
- At least two years programming in Java, .Net or an equivalent language
Who this fits
This is an onsite contract assignment in Madison, Wisconsin, requiring a forty-hour workweek and commitment to the project timeline of about twelve to eighteen months. It suits someone with both business intelligence delivery and project management experience. Workday, Cognos, and PeopleSoft reporting knowledge are preferences, in that order.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS
This assignment minimally requires:
• An in-depth ability and knowledge of Data Warehousing and Reporting.
• An in-depth ability and knowledge of Data Warehouse Design and Development, including Data Modeling.
• An in-depth ability and knowledge of
(1) Gather requirements,
(2) Assess end user needs,
(3) Evaluate and recommend solution options and
(4) Manage an implementation project.
• Willing to commit to the project timeline of about 12-18 months.
• Must be able to commit to work onsite at Madison, WI for a 40-hour work period.
Basic Qualifications
• Preferences for strong solution development (reporting) knowledge using Workday, Cognos and PeopleSoft (in order).
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Reporting
• Strong Architectural knowledge in Data Management and Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence design and development.
• Strong requirements development (facilitation) and design skills in business intelligence solutions.
• Strong Project Management abilities.
• 4 – 7 years of skills as a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Architect/Designer/Developer.
• 3 – 5 years of skills as a Project Manager.
• 3 – 5 years of skills as a data, application and/or integration architect.
• 2+ years of skills in application development/programming in Java, .Net or equivalent.
• 2+ years analytical problem solving, business analyst, requirements development experience.
