What you'll do
- Analyze HIE data entering, leaving and moving within CareSource to help address business problems
- Find and measure data quality issues, then help plan fixes and check data accuracy across analytic and source systems
- Handle routine data management work and respond to one-off user requests
- Check data submitted to regulators and maintain analytic-system data dictionaries
- Document and test data changes, assist with ETL work, and work with subject experts on transformation rules
What you bring
- At least five years working in data analysis
- Hands-on HIE data analysis and experience in healthcare
- Strong SQL skills, data quality and mapping experience, and an understanding of database relationships
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Job Description:
We are in search of an experienced Sr. Data Analyst with at least 5+ years of experience. This candidate needs to have Healthcare Information Exchange “HIE” data analysis experience. They will be working to help define how HIE data can be used to solve business problems. An ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL and have working experience in the healthcare industry.
Job Functions:
· Perform analysis of all data into, out of and within CareSource in support of HIE data
· Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development plans to resolve data issues.
· Support regular data management processes and ad hoc user requests.
· Monitor the quality of data submitted to regulatory agencies.
· Supports the verification of data accuracy within DSI Analytic Systems and source systems
· Supports the maintenance of the Analytic Systems data dictionaries
· Develop, document and perform testing and validation as needed.
· Assist in ETL development, documentation and testing as needed.
· Work with SMEs to develop business rules that support the transformation of data
· Facilitate discussions between end users and data modelers as needed
Desired Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in data analysis
· Experienced in data quality and data mapping
· Experience with Healthcare Information Exchange – HIE data
· Healthcare experience
Technical Skills:
· Strong SQL experience
· Healthcare Information Exchange experience
