What you'll do
- Lead sessions with bank analysts to translate business needs into functions of the enterprise data warehouse package
- Manage requirement scope with business and system analysts at the bank
- Review risk, error and change requests, then prepare the required forms
- Create requirements, mappings, transformation rules, data mart and reporting documents
- Prepare the testing approach, plan and phases for the work
What you bring
- You have three to five years working in a data warehousing setting
- Banking experience is required for this role
- You understand warehouse lifecycle design and delivery, ETL implementation, data quality and analysis
- You have exposure to IBM DataStage, data modelling tools, Oracle, MS SQL, ERWIN and Cognos BI
Who this fits
This mid-level role is based onsite in Doha, with work assigned to a bank in Qatar. You should be able to start within two weeks, with up to one month allowed.

VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Enterprise Data Warehouse Business Analyst for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
- 3-5 years in data warehousing environment
- Banking experience as mandatory.
- Knowledge of the design and implementation of the data warehouse life cycle
- Experience in ETL design and Implementation
- Good knowledge of data quality and data analysis
- Exposed to IBM datastage tool
- Used Data Modeller tool
- Exposed to Oracle, MS SQL, ERWIN
- Exposed to BI tools (Cognos BI 8 or 10)
Functional Skills
- Involved in business requirement to manage scope of requirements with the bank business analysts and with the bank system analysts teams ;
- Leads requirement gathering sessions to map the business requirements to functionalities of the EDW package.
Responsibilities:
- Issues and assess Risk, Error and Change requests in respective Forms
- Develops deliverables; Business requirements documents, Mapping documents, business transformations rules documents, Data mart dimensions and facts, Reports dimensions and measures matrixes documents
- Develops test strategy, plan, and test phases
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Banks in Qatar.
