What you'll do
- Upgrade Oracle databases and RAC across versions ten through twelve, and tune database performance
- Support Oracle ERP implementation, migration and upgrade projects, including work with ERP twelve-C databases
- Work with Oracle Apps DBA systems across multiple platforms, including UNIX environments
What you bring
- At least six years working as an Oracle Apps DBA
- Experience on more than five Oracle ERP implementation, migration or upgrade projects
- Hands-on work upgrading or migrating Oracle ERP twelve-C databases
- Strong Oracle database and RAC upgrade experience, plus performance tuning
- A bachelor's degree and experience with multiple platforms, preferably IBM Power Systems
Who this fits
This is a senior-level DBA role based onsite in Manama. You need to be able to start within two weeks to one month and join the Bahrain operation for assignment to a client organization.

SkillSet required:
ASenior level Oracle ERPDBA ,with a minimum of 6 years of Oracle AppsDBA experience
Haveinvolved/done more than a minimum of 5 Oracle ERP implementation,migration and upgrade projects.
Havecompleted few of those experiences in Upgrade/Migration ofOracle ERP12C Database
Haveexperience on multiple platforms includingUNIX systems (preferably, IBM Power Systems)
Havevery good experience in upgrading Oracle database and RAC from 10Gto 12C and also very good experience in Performance turning.
Termsand conditions:
Joiningtime frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
Theselected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Bahrain and shall bedeputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain.
