What you'll do
- Install and configure Oracle databases across 10g, 11g and 12c, plus Oracle Applications 11i and R12
- Handle database and application upgrades, migrations, code moves, RMAN recovery, disaster recovery and cloning
- Keep production systems running through monitoring, performance tuning and fixes for Oracle database and application issues
- Support Oracle Applications administration and APEX installation and troubleshooting
What you bring
- Around eight years working as an Oracle DBA or Oracle Applications DBA
- A bachelor's degree, with hands-on skills in PL/SQL, SQLPLUS, Unix/Linux, Windows and shell scripting
- Experience with Oracle database and application installs, migrations, RMAN, cloning, production support and APEX
Who this fits
This role suits a mid-level Oracle DBA with broad database and Oracle Applications experience. It is based on-site in Manama, Bahrain, with joining expected within two weeks and no later than one month. You'll join the Bahrain operation and be assigned to a government organization.

experience of around 8 years as Oracle DBA/Oracle APPS DBA
Able
to work across multiple RDBMS across varied versions and platforms
(10g/11g/12c)
Experience
of installing and configuring Oracle databases across versions and
platforms (10g/11g/12c)

of installing and configuring Oracle applications 11i/R12
Upgrading/Migrating
Oracle databases
