What you'll do
- Build, roll out and administer Oracle databases across Windows, Solaris, UNIX, AIX, HP UX and Linux
- Use RAC and ASM, and design standby and recovery databases with Data Guard or replication technology
- Implement advanced database security and configure high-availability and disaster-recovery systems for Oracle and SQL Server
What you bring
- At least six years of relevant experience, including work in the banking domain
- An Oracle certification is required
- Hands-on experience with Oracle database administration, RAC, ASM, recovery design and advanced security
Who this fits
This mid-level, on-site role is based in Qatar and involves assignment to a bank there. You should be able to start within two weeks, with up to four weeks allowed.

VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Oracle DBA for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill set required:
• Should have solid experience in developing, deploying, administration, and managing Oracle Databases on various platforms (Windows, Solaris, UNIX, AIX, HP UX, Linux etc.)
• Experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and ASM technologies.
• Should have experience on Disaster Recovery database/Standby databases design, solutions with Data Guard, Active Data guard and with Third part replication technologies.
• Experience in Advanced security design and implementations
• Experience in configuring High availability & DR setup on Oracle and SQL Server
• Should have banking domain experience
• Oracle certification is a must
Domain – banking
Experience required – 6+ Years
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Banks in Qatar.
