What you bring

- For junior and journeyman roles, you hold GSEC, SSCP or Security+; senior roles require CCISO, CISM, CISSP or GSLC
- You communicate well, work independently, use Microsoft Office proficiently and have professional English skills
- You are authorized to work full time in the United States
Who this fits
This role is offered at junior, journeyman and senior levels, with experience and certification requirements varying by level. It is based onsite in Arlington, with occasional travel of up to ten percent. You must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

The Data Analyst will use Advana platform data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights supporting mission objectives and system improvements. They will work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, ensure data quality and governance compliance, and develop methodologies for data collection, analysis, and visualization. Responsibilities include creating reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance, costs, usage, and customer satisfaction. They will perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining, and predictive analytics, integrating data from various sources to uncover correlations and forecast future needs. The Data Analyst will validate data accuracy, document processes, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making. They will collaborate with technical teams to optimize data systems, implement improvements, and develop reusable analytical components. Additionally, they will evaluate and implement tools, train users on analytics capabilities, and stay current with advancements in analytics techniques and technologies, bringing innovative approaches to their work.
Requirements
- SECRET Security Clearance Required
- GSEC, SSCP, or Security+ certification (for Junior/Journeyman roles)
- CCISO, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC certification (for Senior roles)
- We are actively seeking multiple levels:
- Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Avalore will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
