  • Set project priorities with business stakeholders and coordinate with analytics, technology, finance, product, risk and data teams

What you bring

  • At least seven years delivering analytics, business data analysis or statistical solutions in a complex business setting
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, economics or mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience building cash-flow, profitability, pricing, valuation or customer-lifetime-value models
  • A record of independently leading complex analytics work and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Who this fits

This senior role suits an experienced analyst who can steer projects with limited oversight, influence stakeholders and mentor other analysts. You’ll work on site four days each week and remotely one day, on a Monday-to-Friday schedule of forty hours.

From the employer

Citizens’ Decision Science organization is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to lead high-impact analytics initiatives that translate complex business questions into scalable data solutions, actionable insights, and measurable business outcomes. This role is intended for an experienced analytics leader who can own the development, implementation, and periodic update of Net Present Value models for the Consumer Deposits portfolio, independently shape analytic strategy, guide project execution, and serve as a trusted partner to senior business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Own Deposit Net Present Value (NPV) calculations, methodology, and improvement strategy
  • Evaluate the assumptions required to extrapolate customer behavior beyond the observed measurement period and assess the sensitivity of NPV estimates to those assumptions.
  • Lead multiple high-priority analytics projects from problem framing through delivery, ensuring solutions are accurate, timely, scalable, and aligned to business strategy
  • Convert ambiguous business questions into data requirements, analytic approaches, reusable datasets, and profitability related analytic products that support customer, product, pricing, marketing, and strategic decisions
  • Interface directly with business stakeholders to anticipate needs, shape priorities, influence direction, and maintain alignment and trust throughout the project lifecycle
  • Partner across Analytics, Technology, Finance, Product, Risk, Data, and other teams to design flexible, modular, and well-governed analytic solutions that can adapt to changing business needs

A successful incumbent will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience delivering analytic insights, business data analysis, statistical analysis, or related data-driven solutions in a complex business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analytics projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and other open-source or enterprise tools used for data analysis, analytic dataset development, automation, and insight generation
  • Experience developing cash-flow, profitability, pricing, valuation, or customer-lifetime-value models.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships by anticipating business needs, shaping strategic outcomes, influencing stakeholders, and translating complex analytical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Deep curiosity about the business, including how business processes are reflected in enterprise data and how analytics can improve customer, operational, financial, or strategic outcomes
  • Experience designing scalable, cross-functional analytic solutions with attention to data quality, sample construction, methodology, documentation, controls, and business relevance
  • Proven ability to proactively identify new areas of opportunity, propose analytical approaches, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve processes, products, and outputs
  • Experience mentoring analysts, sharing expertise across teams, and raising the overall quality, consistency, and maturity of analytics delivery

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid: 4 days per week on site, 1 day remote
