What you'll do

  • Document business needs and translate them into functional specifications
  • Analyze data warehousing work from a business or data analysis perspective
  • Use query tools such as Cognos, SAS or Toad to investigate data
  • Review business workflows and benchmarks to identify process improvements

What you bring

  • At least five years as a business analyst, including requirements and specification documentation
  • Five or more years in data warehousing, through business or data analysis work
  • At least two years using Cognos, SAS or another listed query tool
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and how their structures are organized

Who this fits

This contract role is based on-site in Eden Prairie. It suits a mid-level analyst with experience across business analysis, data warehousing and process improvement. Familiarity with Teradata, healthcare systems and healthcare industry work is a plus.

· 5+ years of Business Analyst experience including documenting business requirements and functional specifications

· 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing – business or data analysis experience in data warehousing

· 2+ years of experience with query tools such as Cognos, SAS, Toad, or Teradata SQL Assistant

· 5+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes

· Working knowledge of relational databases and database structures

· Familiarity with Teradata database management systems a plus

· Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint SharePoint, Project)

· Experience in the healthcare industry and working with healthcare systems a plus
