JOB OVERVIEW

• Pharmaceutical Health Care Systems Inc. (JJHCS) a member of Pharmaceutical's Family of Companies is currently recruiting for a Medicaid Analyst, Government Rebate Operations located in Piscataway, NJ. JJHCS provides customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions.
• The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Pharmaceutical franchises.
• The Analyst, Government Rebate Operations will report to the Sr. Manager, Medicaid Operations and will oversee the critical operational aspects of Medicaid Payments
• The Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert in relation to state processing and is required to stay fully informed of any new regulatory or Government rule changes as it relates to States and Medicaid.
• They will partner with State and/or PBA agencies in order to efficiently & accurately process multiple types of invoices; including but not limited to State Medicaid, State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs (SPAP), State Supplemental, ADAP and Managed Medicaid across nine Pharmaceutical companies, over 285 products and 50 States & DC.
• This would include analyzing any State resubmissions and price changes from Pharmaceutical companies Responsibilities will include detailed data validation and reporting, creation and maintenance of supporting documentation, including SOPs and Work Instructions.
• The Analyst, will also be responsible for generating, developing, analyzing and processing monthly and quarterly Medicaid & State reports on behalf of the Pharmaceutical Operating Companies utlizing multiple data sources.
• This may also include creating and analyzing adhoc reports using as needed. In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for managing various business activities supporting the overall GRO team, including compliance audits and supporting various contract-related activities as required. Experience with CARS/Medicaid, CCRA, Cognos, TRIM and market survey databases (IMS, Data Niche is preferred. Ability to work with large amount of data is required.
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Knowledge of, SOP's (Standard Operating Procedure) and Work Instructions process is required. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, with strong attention to detail, while meeting strict deadlines is required.
• Being able to understand and respond to customer (both internal and external) requests in a timely manner is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Ability to create new ways of performing tasks efficiently and effectively as a result of workflow analysis is highly desired.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's/College degree required.
• Experience in Medicaid, Rebate Management, and compliance is highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of product, industry trends and contracting processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical and time management skills are required.
• Having strong verbal & written communication skills and being able to communicate across all levels of the business is required.
• Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work in Piscataway, NJ since the position is located in Piscataway and is not eligible for relocation
