What you'll do
- Check servicing portfolio data by matching files and recording changes
- Query databases with SAS and load files in different formats
- Learn existing workflows, spot process weaknesses and suggest improvements to management
What you bring
- You have five to seven years of SAS experience, including querying databases and importing files
- You bring strong SQL, data warehousing, and familiarity with Sybase, Oracle or another listed database
- You work carefully with details and pick up processes quickly
Who this fits
This is an onsite contractor role in McLean, suited to someone with strong SAS experience. Prior mortgage industry experience is helpful.

The position will support Servicing Portfolio Analytics
•This will require a lot of data validation work, comparing files, tracking changes and etc.
•5-7 year experience in SAS – Looking for a candidate very experienced with SAS.
•Candidate should be able to use SAS to query database and import different type of files.
•Must be very detail oriented.
•Must be a fast learner.
•Needs to be able to see the weakness in process and take initiative to propose changes to the management, once current processes are understood.
My notes: must have SAS exp, SAS to create databases, strong SQL, Datawarehousing, knowledge of Sybase or Oracle or UDB databases.
Experience in Data Analytix
Prior mortgage industry exp is helpful.
